ShipRocked

This is the second year I've been on the ShipRocked Cruise. Last year my boyfriend's band played. This year he was asked to be a part of the cruise's all star group called 'The Stowaways. Cruises are weird. I've never been on one until ShipRocked. It's basically a rock/metal music festival on a boat- very different than your average cruise. Very loud, lots of food, and lots of alcohol, Thankfully we don't drink or we'd be that couple running for the boat! (apparently there's a cruise term for those folks) Nevertheless, we had fun these past 2 years. We make new friends and have a good time doing some of the fun stuff the on the boat and islands. ShipRocked Baby!

Here are some live shots of a few bands and random photos. Shooting during the day was decent thanks to natural light. However at night the lighting on the outside stage deck was different than your usual venue. Challenging yet fun.
